Undergraduate Research Assistant (NSF REU)
Anette joined the IRVLab in the summer of 2026 as an NSF REU fellow, during senior year at UC Berkeley double majoring in computer science and linguistics. Their work with the lab focused on developing a grammar for relaying complex hand gesture commands to underwater robots in order to make human-robot communication in underwater environments more efficient and intuitive. In their free time, Anette enjoys biking, reading, backpacking, and gardening.
