Ph.D. Student
Maryam will start her Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota in Fall 2023. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2021. Her thesis focused on predicting seizures by using deep learning methods. Prior to her Ph.D., she completed a master's degree in CS at the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2023, where she worked on developing a new navigation system for Pepper robots. She wrote her master’s thesis on exploring gender differences in brain activity while performing different tasks. Her research interests include Computer Vision and Deep Learning methods.
